Caiaphas

High priest from about AD 18 to 36. Caiaphas was the son-in-law of Annas and seemed to work closely with him. After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Caiaphas and others were eager to kill Jesus. Caiaphas was involved in the trial of Jesus. He is also mentioned in the arrest of Peter and John.
