Mythical Creatures

If you read Job 39:9–12 in the King James Version of the Bible, you might be surprised to find the unicorn mentioned. But the unicorn was probably a wild ox or an antelope, rather than the single-horned unicorn you read about in fantasy books. Another creature, the leviathan, is mentioned in the book of Job and other places in the Bible. It is one of the “magnificent creatures” God talks about on page 43 of The Action Bible. Some scholars think the term refers to a crocodile; others think it is a make-believe creature.
