After being stuck on the ark for such a long time, Noah and his family might have thought they’d never see dry land again! But God kept every promise. When the time came, Noah and all the animals walked out safely onto new ground to find new homes. And God made a new promise for Noah and for the whole world—including us. It was a promise not to destroy. It was a promise to be patient with humans and to stay with us, even in our sin. And this promise gives us hope today that God will continue to be with us and someday give us a new eternal home.
