Isaac needed a wife. So, Abraham sent his servant to look for a potential wife in his hometown, and the servant prayed to the Lord for a sign and found Rebekah. Her humility made her seem like a perfect fit. Perhaps the servant also thought her willingness to serve and work hard would help her adjust to a new home.
