Thought

After Jesus was convicted to die for a crime He didn’t commit, He was led through the city to a hill where He was crucified. During this time, many prophecies were fulfilled, but the people who had called for His death still couldn’t see that He was the Messiah. Yet, Jesus loved the world so much that He willingly died on the cross so people from every generation could have salvation from their sins. When we profess Jesus as our Lord and Savior, confess our sins, and ask for forgiveness, we are saved from the punishment of death and instead can have eternal life in God’s kingdom.

Word

Romans 6:10 NIV

The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
