Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew the Law of Moses: “You shall not bow down to [idols]” (Exodus 20:5). So, when it came time to bend before the gold statue of Nebuchadnezzar, they trusted that God would save them if they stood tall. And even if God wouldn’t save them, the three Israelites knew He was still their God, and they would worship no other. Today you may feel “heat” or pressure to go along with the crowd. But God will be with you when you choose courageously to do the right thing.
