Thought

After Jesus died, people responded in different ways. The Pharisees wanted His tomb guarded in case the disciples came to steal His body. The disciples hid in fear, worried that they would be arrested and put on trial too. Some of the women who followed Jesus brought spices for His body, wanting to serve their Lord one more time. But when the women came to the tomb, they found it open, and Jesus’ body was gone! Jesus died, but He rose again on the third day, just as He said he would. His resurrection gives us hope of eternal life!
