People with all different skills and levels of abilities were needed to create a holy place for God to meet with His people. Some people gave resources, some people carried heavy items, some mixed up fragrant oils, and some fashioned beautiful objects from precious metals. Everyone showed their love for God through service with their minds, bodies, hearts, and souls.
All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the Lord freewill offerings for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.
What special skills do you have? Maybe you can run fast, play a sport, draw pictures, sing songs, or study hard. Maybe you are very patient with small children, a good listener, or you have great ideas for raising money. Whatever skill you have, you can trust that God will bless any service you do for Him with that skill.
Write down the top five things you know how to do really well. Make a video of you teaching someone else how to do that thing. It could be something as simple as making hot chocolate or something more complex like playing a difficult video game. Teaching others how to do something that they want to learn is another way of serving others.
Lord, help me to know all the ways that I can serve You, and help me encourage others to serve You too. Amen.
