Cyprus

An island in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. It is 148 miles long and about 40 miles across. Paul and Barnabas visited Cyprus on their first missionary journey. On the island, a government official named Sergius Paulus heard the message of Christ and believed. Barnabas and John Mark later came back to Cyprus to preach.
