Foxes

Foxes are mentioned nine times in the Bible. They were probably similar to the red fox in America.

When Samson wanted to take revenge against the Philistines, the enemies of Israel, he caught three hundred foxes, tied torches to their tails, and set the Philistines’ grain fields on fire. Jesus called Herod Antipas a “fox” because of Herod’s crafty nature.
