Healing

Curing someone of a disease or condition. Sometimes God healed people directly or worked through a prophet like Elisha to heal people. Healing was an important part of Jesus’s ministry. He often healed the sick. When He sent His disciples out to tell about salvation, He gave them a special gift—the ability to heal the sick as He did. After Jesus returned to heaven, the leaders of the early church received the gift of healing.
