Hebrews, book of

We do not know who wrote this letter. Some scholars believe that Paul, Barnabas, Priscilla, or Aquila could have written it. The book itself does not say, and no other New Testament books tell us for certain. The author’s purpose was to show readers that Jesus was greater than angels, Moses, and any high priests. All Christians are on their way to a heavenly city to which Jesus has already gone. They will find eternal rest and joy at the end. So we shouldn’t be weary or lose hope.
