Herodias

The granddaughter of Herod the Great. Herodias was the wife of her uncle Philip but left him to marry his brother. Because John the Baptist confronted her about her illegal marriage, Herodias told her daughter Salome to ask for the head of John the Baptist after Salome danced for Herod Antipas.
