Hospitality

The act of welcoming someone and providing for that person’s needs. As they traveled far from home, many people in the Bible depended on the hospitality of others. Abraham showed hospitality to angels sent from God. When Jesus sent His disciples out to preach about the kingdom of God, He told them to depend on the hospitality of others. Later, the apostle Paul and his fellow missionaries often stayed in the homes of others while preaching the good news of Jesus.
