Hushai

A spy for King David when David’s son Absalom led a rebellion against his father. Hushai pretended to have changed from David’s side to Absalom’s. When Absalom asked him about attacking King David, Hushai gave advice that delayed the attack. Then David had time to escape across the Jordan River.
