A wealthy businesswoman in Philippi and Paul’s first convert in Europe. She heard about Jesus while praying with other women by a river. She believed what Paul told her about Jesus. After her whole family and her servants believed and were baptized, she invited Paul and his traveling companions to stay at her home. The church at Philippi met at her house.
