Mary Magdalene

A follower of Jesus and the first person to whom Jesus appeared after His resurrection. She was called “Magdalene” because she came from the town of Magdala on the Sea of Galilee. Like Jesus, she was a Galilean. The Bible mentions that Jesus cast seven demons out of Mary.
