Miracles/Wonders

Amazing acts done by the power of God. Miracles may be beyond the known laws of nature, but they are not magic. God performed great wonders and gave many people the power to do great things. In the Old Testament, prophets like Moses, Elijah, and Elisha performed great deeds. In the New Testament, Jesus proved that He was the promised Savior by the amazing acts He did: healing people of sickness; feeding over five thousand people; turning water into wine; raising dead people to life; and walking on water. The Holy Spirit gave Jesus’s disciples the power to do miracles.
