Mount Hor

The name of two mountains: (1) the mountain where Aaron was buried. This mountain is probably a sandstone mountain in what is now the Sinai Peninsula about one hundred miles south of Jerusalem. It has twin peaks. (2) The mountain that marked the northern boundary of Israel’s land. It is probably one of the peaks in what we know as the Lebanon mountain range.
