Mount Sinai

Also known as Mount Horeb, this is the place where Moses went to receive the Ten Commandments from God. It is also the place to which Elijah fled to escape the anger of Jezebel. We are not sure of the exact location of this mountain, but most scholars believe it is one of the mountains in the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula.
