Pillar of Fire and Cloud

The sign God used to lead the Israelites through the wilderness. God showed this miraculous sign to the Israelites as they were fleeing from the army of the pharaoh. It continued to guide them all during the forty years before they entered Canaan. The cloud was seen during the day and the fire at night.
