Pride

A refusal to depend on God and a belief that one person is better than others. Miriam admitted to pride when she criticized Moses. King Nebuchadnezzar was proud, but God humbled him. The Pharisees showed their pride with their refusal to believe that Jesus was the Savior sent from God.
