Repentance

Sorrow for sin, and turning away from that sin to serve God and do right. Repentance involves admitting before God that what we did or said was wrong, feeling sorrow for that wrongdoing and the hurt it caused God or others, and most importantly, turning from wrong acts to right acts. As we turn away from sin, we turn back to God. To accept Jesus’s gift of new life, we must admit that we’ve done wrong. The Holy Spirit leads us to ask for forgiveness.
