A young servant in a house in Jerusalem where a group of Christians had gathered to pray for the release of the apostle Peter from prison. When she heard a knock at the gate of the house, she went to see who was there. When she heard Peter’s voice, she was so surprised she forgot to open the gate! Instead, she ran inside to tell the others Peter had come. They did not believe her until they finally went to the gate, where Peter was still knocking.
