Sarai/Sarah
The wife of Abraham. At first her name was Sarai. God promised Abram that he and Sarai would be the parents of a nation of people. After many years, God kept His promise, and Sarah, at age ninety, gave birth to a boy. He was named Isaac, which means “laughter.” Sarah died when she was 127, and Abraham buried her in a cave in a field he bought.
