Shipwreck

The destruction of a ship. Travel in Bible times was pretty risky, especially in the Adriatic Sea with its high winds. Paul was shipwrecked more than once. When the disciples sailed with Jesus on the Sea of Galilee, they were terrified during a storm. For experienced fishermen to be frightened, the storm was a big deal. But Jesus calmed the storm and prevented their ship from sinking.
