Sihon

An Amorite king living in Heshbon, a city in Moab, during the time of the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. Sihon refused to allow the people of Israel to pass through his land and decided to go to war with them. His ally was Og, another Amorite king of a region called Bashan. Both kings were defeated.
