Sisera

Commander of the army of Canaanites whose king was Jabin. The Canaanites were difficult to fight, for they had nine hundred chariots of iron, and the Israelites had none. Deborah and Barak gathered men from other tribes to fight Sisera’s forces and defeated his army. Sisera fled on foot, hiding in the tent of a woman named Jael who later killed him.
