Fall, the

Adam and Eve’s first sin in the garden of Eden. God told Adam and Eve that they could eat from any tree in the garden except from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But the serpent (Satan) tempted Eve, and she ate fruit from that tree. She gave some fruit to Adam, and he also ate. Their disobedience caused the fall. They “fell” out of their good relationship with God. Because of their sin, every human being born since then has been born with a desire to do wrong things.
