Tabitha

A Christian who lived at Joppa. She showed her love for Jesus by making clothing for those in need and helping in other ways. When she became ill and died, other Christians learned that Peter was in a nearby town and sent for him. When Peter arrived, he prayed beside Tabitha’s body. By the power of the Holy Spirit, he raised her from the dead.
