Leah

Jacob’s first wife and the mother of Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah. Jacob’s second wife was Leah’s younger sister, Rachel. Jacob had worked for seven years in order to marry Rachel, but Laban, the women’s father, sent Leah to the wedding instead. Jacob was disappointed but worked another seven years for Rachel. Although Leah knew she was not the favorite, she was loyal to Jacob. She went with him to Canaan when he left Laban’s house.
